Aptamer Lateral Flow Assays

Lateral flow is a qualitative (presence/absence) or semi-quantitative analytical test. Lateral flow strips are attracting more and more interest for easy and rapid analysis : they can be used on site (point of care analysis) and the results can be read after a few minutes for a rapid screening. Aptamer-based lateral flow assays can be used for the specific detection of analytes relevant to clinical diagnostic, and for environmental or for other non-clinical application. One or several analytes can be detected concurrently on the same strip.
